Production stages, from piece design through to delivery to the customer

Design

All our products are created on the basis of finished-part drawings sent by our customers. Our technical department, through the use of sophisticated CAD CAM software, is able to process a rough product drawing which forms the basis for die making.

The manufacture

The technicians of our mechanical engineering department completely manufacture the production dies using:

4 machining centres
3 numerical control lathes
2 parallel lathes

Materials

To make the parts, we use different types of steels such as:

Bond steel
Carbon steel
Stainless steel

Hot forging

The forming process involves the diversified use of production lines according to the size and complexity of the pieces. Our 5 forming lines are as follows:

Nr. 2 1000 TONNE LINE
Nr. 2 1600 TONNE LINE
Nr. 1 2000 TONNE LINE

Quality Control

The pieces made during the production phase as a whole are continuously monitored by the production manager and a more accurate analysis is performed during the “quality control” phase.

Thanks to the use of a special tool known as the “Portable 3D measuring arm”, we are able to analyse part dimensions and draw up a report to be sent to the Customer.

Sandblasting and other services

With our sandblasting system we can also perform the surface treatment of parts ready for subsequent destinations.
